Music took hold of Sandra Lee early in life and has remained her passion ever since. At age 10, Sandra Lee first discovered songwriting and playing the guitar. She continues to hone both her songwriting craft and instrumental skills with some of Nashville's most prolific songwriters. Her songs are full of life's heart-felt stories set to melodies and grooves that evoke every kind of emotion. Her songs are very competitive in the hit-song-writing world and they make an instant connection with listeners.
Sandra Lee was part of a mother-daughter duo performing with her daughter Brittini for several years. The duo performed as the opening act for Lonestar, Kenny Rogers. Sammy Kershaw, Billy Ray Cyrus, Wade Hayes, Rick Trevino and Diamond Rio, (at the Grand Ole' Opry), to name a few. They have had several songs on the radio getting much coveted airplay in an industry with very tight airplay space. Each song that was played generated a strong response on the request lines and helped to strengthen the concert appearances they did in the area. Their songs topped the charts on many radio stations, helping to develop a strong and loyal following. Writing and singing brought the duo to Nashville to pursue their dreams.
Brittini is now working on a solo artist deal and Sandra Lee has put her focus into her first love…songwriting.Sandra Lee has also had an extensive career in both Country Radio and Television sales management. She is currently working on her own Reality TV Show concept, "Country Star Tour and the Road to Stardom". She has a strong background in sales and marketing strategies and hopes to use these skills to develop and produce the show.
It won't surprise you that Sandra Lee is a physical fitness enthusiast and spends much of her off time in the gym. She was once a gymnast and even hosted her own TV fitness show, "Just for the Health of it". She loves running and biking and even plays a bit of ice hockey.
Sandra Lee is not afraid of hard work. She understands the sacrifices required to be successful in the business of songwriting. Writing songs is her greatest passion and one she feels is a rare "gift" that she wants to share.
